December 9, 2010 - Old Fashioned Christmas at the Birthplace
Join park staff as we celebrate the holidays the way they were enjoyed in the late nineteenth century, the time period in which former Secretary of State Cordell Hull lived in this rural area on the edge of the Cumberland Plateau. Festivities begin at 6PM and include old fashioned holiday music, lantern-lit trail hikes, refreshments and seasonal decorations in the restored birthplace cabin.

Cordell Hull Birthplace State Park is located at 1300 Cordell Hull Memorial Drive in Byrdstown. Turn at the Shell station on Hwy 111 and travel approximately 1.5 miles down Hwy 325 to reach the park. For more information, please call the park at 931-864-3247.
